Base one.
There must be one global currency. Corporations which include all the banks and financial services, and all the major power governments and all the major military and secret service organizations use currency trading to manipulate politics. Lets get real, that means currency is used as a weapon of war, and that is both in the usual nation on nation sense, and in the unmentionable hegemonic realms of the corporate block on corporate block sense, the very wealthy elite on any other section, and of the elite on the lower classes.
And really, manipulations of currency is used to do battle against democracy. Any region that has the people get organized and vote in reforms favorable to the local population and not favorable to corporate and banking interests gets beaten down with the mechanisms of currency and trading mechanisms.
I am not going to be a footnote junkie here,but will note, if you don't know this you are not paying attention to anything as probably hundreds if not thousands of books exist on the subject most notably the collection of works by Noam Chomsky.
Base two.
A global minimum wage. I am not going to compromise here. The global minimum wage now should be about $50 an hour.
Base three
A global base welfare system. I know in our great free market of ideas and democracy this is an unspeakable unmentionable idea, and the hegemonic corporate global leviathan will ridicule such and idea. Non the less we are leaving the dinosaur age and I am not going to compromise here. the global base should be about $25,000 per person. Yes that is right. Minimum wage, $50,000. Base Welfare $25,000. Yes, Globally.
As to the claim that we would then be supporting a bunch of lazy slackers, who cares. I would rather have half the population slacking off and getting a good base income so that they are housed and healthy and consuming whatever good or service I produce, than have them living in squalor and being beaten down to the point of requiring incarceration mental health services, and using up other resources that come out of very high cost emergency programs, and or otherwise becoming criminals in the alternative economy and hurting me through the high cost of crime and other alternative economic schemes people get involved in when deprived of any hope prospects or future.
Just having a base income globally for all would mean an economy bustling beyond belief in terms of the current world and bustling in the boring slow uninteresting sectors of providing housing, education, health care, food and clothing to 7 Billion persons.
Base 4
The maximum allowable income would be ten times the base employment base. Perhaps entreprenuers running new and innovative growing enterprises could be allowed up to 20 times base. No limits on the enterprise income and growth as related to allocation of resources back in to the enterprise.
Thus Big shot tech co's founder and operator would get 10 x base plus his base welfare, that is, everyone gets thier base, plus their useful compensation.
Base 5
All governing entities will no longer tax, each area, the local, state, regional, state, bioregional and or national size units will get per capita base payments. these will be roughly equivalent globally such that where a New York City per capita base is x per citizen, then the comparable mexico city or Nigeria citizen per diem base will be the same, and on down or up the line if a town in the US or Europe per diem base is x then the same goes for the town in Niger or Mongolia. This is equalateral democratization of the market, the system of trade.
Base Six
Environmental Law, Regulation and Greenhouse Emissions standards, Quite simply, again , must be global.
Must be based on sound science not political or special interest or old school manipulations by those who now benefit from the old way of doing business. Creative economic evolution must be allowed to go forward with whole segments of the economy going away and whole new enterprises springing up.
Base Seven
Universal Health, Universal Education, Universal retirement and of course as above universal wage and welfare base globally. Health, education and retirement could be either built in to the base payments or made a seperate automatic per diem base of one of thr regional or global jurisdictions.
Base Eight
Labor and Services are the only value. This is our universal covenant.
Base Nine
With no taxes and no interest and ownership of your basic home and land and stuff, and with health care guaranteed, and your base welfare or retirement guarantees there will be no need for hoarding money or having a large amount of assetts. Base Nine is the idea of a limit of how much resources any one person can use, you get a base wage 1-10, you can consume whatever you wish of goods and services up to your base. Items such as homes and vehicles will have limitations such that they are reasonably limited, such as you could build any home you want so long as it does not exceed a certain resource allocation which would be modest by US standards but opulent by historical standards of most societies. Think of auto mileage standards and relate that to having a square foot limit on home area, and lot or acreage limits on land use for purely residential purposes etc.
Base 10
No money. No accumulation of wealth. Each January 1 all Base accounts are wiped clean and the new year starts over with the new computation of the new base.
Complicated? I don't think so. The current banking credit scheme has a very very efficient mechanism for keeping track of Billions of credit cards and distributing payments. And the current derivatives and credit Default Swap schemes trade back and forth hundreds of trillions of dollars annually.
I think a system could be quite easily devised to code product and service payments and to make a global benefit card that could be the tool for managing such a system. See the page The Tool. A system where all goods and services are the value, the delivery of which satisfies both sides of the trade equation, leaving no debt and no taxes.
Money and property and ownership and conventions of debt and usery are all an agreed upon illusion. Every single thing and all that is on and in the earth is here now, and was here before humans existed and will be here after we possibly destroy ourselves fighting over the illusions that one group of humans owns the rights to charge other humans for the right to have the things they need to survive and prosper.
