So we come the modern day church. Look around your town, look around any major city, look around the heart of our society New York City and see which buildings are the grandest and most opulent creations of our culture, the temples of the religion: Bank and Finance, Brokerage and Stock Trading, Money Traders. We have been converted without even knowing it. All problems are solved we are told by the "Federal Reserve Bank" setting rates or doing mysterious transactions with bonds and trading and quantitative easing or tightening. Nothing is related to actual human decisions to create a better or different world, nothing depends on making the right choices or starting to provide goods or services in any way. All is controlled merely by the invisible hand of the market which can only be enhanced or degraded by the setting of the value of money and interest rates and the money supply and the relative value of the dollar against other nations currencies. No amount of effort to do good or make products or provide services we are told can have any effect on society, only the power of the market and the availability of money as ordained by the banks.

We cannot do it because after all where will the money come from and who will pay for it?

There is no money. Never has been and never will be. Shocked? Angry? Ready to turn off your brain at the very thought that there is no money whilst you have spent your entire life fighting and kicking and working and for money and trying to get ahead through our belief in money? Too disturbing and upsetting for you?

Think about it, its right out in the open. We do not live in a monetist society, we live in a capitalist society. And you have been tricked into thinking that money is what you need because that is what the high priests use to control you, the priests control the capital and they allow for you to have some of this illusion called money.

What is capital if it is not money you ask? Well, capital is real things in the real world and in the real world there is no money, not anywhere, there is land, and there are people, and there are plants and animals on the land, and there are resource in the land, there is water and air, and sunlight, and all the goods and services that humas produce in cooperation or coercion with each other but no where not anywhere is there any money. Now someone created the concept of money and told you here look at this this coin or piece of paper it is money and this money has value because you can get stuff with it, but you have no control over this money it deflates over time and becomes worthless, the priests constantly raise prices and charge interest and insist that you pay taxes and create myriad obfuscations and control points that deny you coming int control of enough of the real world to be free from money as they are, as they know, there is no money it is worthless, any real person has control or ownership of real property, real estate income producing assets, or a mythical economic system which the people believe in, you see the very concept of money is an asset even though it does not exist.

But you know you have to go to work to get money, you have to borrow money because you must buy "real property" at interest, you must pay taxes because the government, all governments need money and more money all the time, even though they supposedly are the ones who can print money (they do not) and it is the governments fault, your governments fault which you elected which is to blame for the situation that there is never enough money because they print too much. But wait a minute, if the government prints money, why do they need to have any tax collections at all, why could there ever be a shortage of money? Economics will give you the answer that it is because people who work, people who have no money, and no real property, keep asking for money and this causes inflation and hence there is never enough money because no matter how much is printed the greedy workers keep on sucking up all the money and driving up prices.

Of course the high priests educated at the finest institutions of the religion will never ever tell you that in fact there is no money and that there is no interest there is no taxation needed for anything and it is all a bunch of bullshit created in order that a small number of very wise people can continue controlling all the resources and people on the planet as they see fit. However this deception has been going on for so long, thousands of years that the very people who are in control don't even know these things anymore. Yet they play there parts very well because the religion has been enshrined and rewarded so well regardless of what the humans stuck in the plot do, until now. If you believe that rain comes from the sky when you pray to the god Frog Mother, and the plants and the animals grow and thrive because it is the will of Goobla Ga, these beliefs will serve you fine so long as your local eco system stays in balance and the larger global ecosystem keeps providing water and clean air and no larger human society impinges on you lands, but if you destroy your environment and the soils are destroyed and all the animals die off and the neighboring country bombs your towns back to the stone age all your beliefs will not bring back what has been lost. Catholic clerics counting the angels on the heads of pins and Buddhist monks spinning wheels and rubbing beads, and the communist collectivists claiming the proletariat controlling the illusions solve all, is all very well and good but when the real world kicks in all the dogma will not prevail over reality. And the religion of economics will not prevail when the dogma of growth and money reach the limits of planet earth.

You cannot eat money, heat with it, grow food in it, or have fun with it. If I were to send 100 human beings to live on a new planet what would we send with them? Buckets of money? No we would send the resources needed to survive on that planet, real things, real tools, real food, real technology. As it is now on our very own planet we have the knowledge and technology to make this world a beautiful vibrant and sustainable place for all yet we are told over and over and over, where will the money come from. There is no money. There is the resources and the people and the technology and the knowledge to do whatever we want, but not is we continue believing that there is money and that it is controlled by these high priests of the temples. The priests will tell you that we must have money. Yet just like magic, if there is a war which of course threatens the high priests of one nation from the priests of another nation then all of a sudden there is ample money to do whatever is needed, if revolution is in the air and it looks like the people are awakening and will kill the high priests then all of a sudden there is ample money, if the high priests fighting with each other to gain control crash the whole crazy system they have created and too many of them will loose power and prestige all of a sudden there is ample money for them. And that is because there is no money. The illusion is created by the high priests and they decide how much of this illusion is to be created and who will control the illusions. And yet they themselves cannot see this illusion as they are the truest of all believers. They will not say we need more factories or cleaner energy, or better wages or a global social benefit, or for democratic control of the illusions, no they will say we need to somehow manipulate the markets and interest rates so that the priests in the temples will be pleased with the profits and lend more money to businesses and homeowners.

But you say, "I can see this money" "I use it every day". But do you? Really? Did you see the money in your paycheck, did you see the gold and silver when you signed for your car, or your house? Did the high priests minion give you a pile of cash or coin which you the gave over to the seller? If you have money in the bank,lets say even $50,000, go to the bank and try to withdraw it in 100 dollar bills or coins, you will cause a major commotion. Because there is no money. I am sure they will write you a check, or give you a money order, but if you want money then that is another storey because all good bankers know there is no money,just illusions, numbers in computers and the sturdy belief in the dogmatic teachings of accounting and that all numbers must add up to the penny.

Never the less we are all stuck to some degree in this religion of economics and its controlling illusion money.

But we need not be.

The only reason there is any shortage of any thing any person who has less than needed anywhere on this planet, the only reason the planet is being pillaged and destroyed for so called profit is that the religion of economics is based on a set of illusions and concepts designed to keep power and control of everything in the hands of a few very old very out of date individuals, who don't even realize the true nature of the world themselves. We are destroying the world and managing the people and resources in the worst possible ways all in order to feed the religion of economics and please and satisfy the priests of numerical accounting.

There is no money. There are no numbers in the real world. An apple is an apple a million apple are a million single apples not $1 or $1million. A tree is a tree, a person is a person, a house is a house, a ton of rock is a bunch of rocks bearing a similar relationship to our illusory conception of 2000 pounds, the ton of rock is not ten dollars or 2000 pounds, it is pile of rock, it may have a high or low value depending on if it is gravel or marble or diamonds but whatever it is it is what it is not something else. No amount of money ever will make one grain of sand, or one seed of wheat, or one human egg and one sperm combining into a human being or one single electron or atom. All that is real has been separated and hidden from you and you have been given the illusions of the religion, money, interest, taxes, insurance. A blade of grass, a songbird, a fish in the sea never had use for money, never paid interest, never had insurance, never paid a tax,never attached numbers to real things and valued them as abstract unreal things to use for power and gain against others. But the priests took you at a young age and they taught you that numbes are important and that all things can be enumerated and that this is the way because of course numbers add up so nicely and neatly proving the equation that more is more and that the values attached to things using numbers is unchallengable. Any yet, who was it that set the values and how and why? How is it that the banks and the wealthy landowners came to have all the money and all the land and that you coming into this world just as they did naked and in need of care how is it that you get nothing and they get so much.

Coal Export to China

Coal Trains to China

In response to the plans of the Coal industry to export coal from the Powder River Basin at Cherry Point Washington State, or any port anywhere.

I just read in this weeks Economist August 10th 2013, the lead story "The World's Worst Polluter" , which refers no longer to the USA but now to China. China now contributes 30% of the total to global CO2 pollution. And growing. The article refers to China now beginning to realize it needs to stop polluting as it is killing its own people off and poisoning its own land.

Now enter the Powder Basin Coal Export scheme and the willful and knowing decision to export coal that is too dirty to be allowed to be utilized for producing electricity in the United states. In other words the coal that would be exported is a defective unacceptable product in the USA, illegal to use here. The United States has decided that it does not want to pollute its own environment and poison its own lands and sicken and kill off its own people using this high sulfur content coal to produce electricity. The coal mining industry thinks that it would be a great idea to export this dirty coal to other countries for them to burn it and poison pollute the environment and sicken kill off people there.

This is absurd, and highly immoral. Given that CO2 is a pollution that enters the atmosphere and stays there for hundreds of years it does not matter if the coal is burned in China, India or America, the effect will be the same, increase and acceleration of global warming everywhere. Not to mention the local high intensity pollution and downwind plume fallout of the other toxic elements in the coal that will poison the lands, people and food production in China.

The export of this coal is exactly like a company that manufactures defective products or poisonous products that have been banned in the USA exporting those products to other countries where they will poison kill and injure others, with the amazing addition to this export of dangerous defective product that it also comes straight back and on us adding pollution to the air we breathe, increasing global warming, adding mercury and other toxins to the ocean waters we get food from and adding toxins to any food product exported from China.

Or think of it like selling your neighbor a bunch of lead paint and asbestos boards you had piled up in your basement to fix up their house.

Morally, ethically, good neighborliness, environmentally and just plain common sense self preservation says, NO. We do not export dirty coal anywhere ever, leave it in the ground.
